Welcome to the Western District's Bible Quizzing Website. A new year of Bible Quizzing is under way. In both the Intermediate and Experienced Divisions, many quizzers are spending quality time with their verse cards and charting eagerly anticipating the approaching tournaments.
This year Senior Bible Quizzers will be examining several Pauline epistles - Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians - a study sure to enhance the appreciation of biblical doctrine, Christ-centered discipleship and the Apostle Paul and his ministry colleagues. Thank you in advance for your investment in this anointed ministry.
Please remember that the Intermediate Division is open to 12-14 year olds, as well as first-year quizzers in the 15-18 age group. Anyone who has quizzed through to a BQE in a previous year (that is, to that point in a previous season, regardless of if he or she actually attended a BQE) is NOT considered as a first-year quizzer.

Western Quiz Spectacular will be held on March 17-18 at the Bakersfield Convention Center in conjunction with the Western District Youth Convention. Quizzing will begin on Monday morning at 10:00 am and will cover the material thru Ephesians 5:33 (280 verses).
Western Extravaganza will be held on April 24-26 in Modesto at the Revival Center UPC (Bro. Keyes) located at 825 7th St. Quizzing will begin on Thursday afternoon at 5:00 and will cover the material thru Philippians 1:30 (334 verses).
Finals Warm-Up Tournament will be held on May 30-31 in Tulare at the Abundant Life Center (Bro. Parkey) located at 2201 E. Bardsley Ave. Quizzing will begin at 7:00 Friday evening. Intermediate Division will cover all of the material thru Philippians 4:23 (408 verses), Experienced Division will cover the material thru Colossians 2:23 (460 verses).
Southern California District Finals Tournament will be held on June 20-21 in Escondido at the North Point Worship Center (Bro. Sargent) located at 1002 E. El Norte Parkway. Quizzing will begin at 7:00 Friday evening and will cover all of the material.
Western District Finals Tournament will be held on June 27-28 in Arroyo Grande at the Gospel Lighthouse (Bro. Domingues) located at 497 Fair Oaks Ave. Quizzing will begin at 7:00 Friday evening and will cover all of the material.

Again this year, we will be incorporating the Ultimate Challenge as a new twist at all tournaments. Quizzers are invited (not compelled) to sign up for various quoting and charting drills. The top performers in each department are awarded medals at the awards ceremony. This allows quizzers who have put in the study time but may or may not place in the tournments to receive recognition for their efforts and also it helps encourage and direct new or flagging quizzers.
